Electronic Funding

Electronic funding of your online brokerage account is easy with mytradebook. You can learn more on this page.

Online payments are for the primary purpose of the purchase of securities. There is no minimum deposit required to open an account on mytradebook.

Fund your account using VISA/MASTERCARD/VERVE

  • You need a valid debit or credit card from the above listed payment providers to make payment on mytradebook
  • Visit and login with your username and password
  • Click on deposit fund under the account overview page
  • Select the account you want to fund and enter the amount you want to deposit and click continue
  • Confirm the amount to be paid to Greenwich Securities through the online funding and click continue, you will be redirected to interswitch site to finalize the payment
  • Once a successful payment is made via interswitch, you will be redirected back to mytradebook and your account will be funded instantly
  • Trading can commence immediately, once a successful payment is made.

  • When funding a new mytradebook brokerage account for the first time with debit or credit card through the online platform, you can fund with whatever amount you choose as there are no minimum deposit restrictions, thus giving you the freedom you deserve
  • Funds deposited electronically can be used immediately for trading.
  • Please note: Certain account types may have a higher minimum and maximum deposit limit.
  • When depositing additional funds to an existing account, you may deposit up to N500,000.00 per day. There is no minimum electronic funding amount for additional deposits into existing accounts.

Bank Transfer

Fund your mytradebook online brokerage accounts quickly and easily with a wire transfer.

After opening an account, you can fund it via wire transfer with any amount. Please include your newly generated account number as a reference. Please do not initiate any online transfer until you receive notification that your account has been opened. You can also learn more about funding by visiting our FAQ page.

Local Bank Transfer

Bank transfers can be made to your mytradebook account via your financial institution. Please have the bank include your CSCS and brokerage account number as reference.

You can also initiate an online transfer from your bank account, if you subscribe to internet banking if provided by your financial institution.

A bank transfer from an individual or corporate bank account may be deposited into individual or corporate brokerage account.

Foreign Wire Transfer

Wire transfers that involve a bank outside of Nigeria are classified as foreign wires. An intermediary Bank is needed. Along with the name and address of the intermediary bank, a SWIFT code or a sort code needs to be included. Third party foreign wires are not accepted.


cheque Payment Instructions

You can fund your mytradebook account by paying cheque into any of our listed bank accounts. Please note that availabiility of your funds in your mytradebook brokerage account could take between 24-72 hours, this depends on both banks and the clearing of the cheque into our account.

Availability of Funds

  • Availability of funds in your trading account varies and depend on mode of payment, we advise any user that intend to make use of their funds immediately to please use the online payment mode.
  • cheque payment into any of our bank through a thrid party payment bank will have to go through interbank clearing for settlement which could take between 48-72 hours. The fund will only be available for trading after confirmation that the fund has cleared into our account.
  • Please note: Your mytradebook brokerage account number and CSCS N0 would be required for verification when funding your account through bank, please make them as reference on your deposit slip.
  • Funds could be available within 24 hours for cheque payments that the paying bank is the same our own receiving bank. Example: if you deposit a GTB cheque into our GTB account, your brokerage account could receive value the same day.
